Brent Sheppard

Brent Sheppard has been writing, recording, producing, and performing music in the Cincinnati area for the better part of 3 decades.  As a self-taught musician and engineer, what started with a cheap 8-track recorder soon developed into a formidable home recording setup, which he has maintained and developed ever since. Recording everything from hip-hop to rock to polka, Brent has been on the cutting edge of bringing affordable, high quality recording to Cincinnati since the mid 90's. Meanwhile, his music has earned multiple placements on national television.  Eventually, Brent decided to put his passion and experience into a new project, a state-of-the-art recording studio built from the ground up.  He enlisted the help of Gavin Haverstick from Haverstick Designs, and together they designed a one of a kind space focused on acoustics, creativity, and versatility.  After a great deal of hard work and help from his family, friends, and others, Legacy Soundworks is the result.  As owner and CEO, Brent strives to give you the best experience and end result possible.
